Cycas revoluta known to be used as ornamental, it has thick coat of fibers on its trunk, with crown of shiny, dark green leaves on a thick shaggy trunk. Common houseplant grown ideally in a container or pot. It is a slow-growing, palm-like evergreen perennial, robust-stemmed cycad, erect at first but gradually relining with age, and suckering and branching when mature.
